U1-MLM
- The U1-MLM represents an evolution of our first collaboration with UNIMATIC, born from the question "What would a UNIMATIC watch from the 1950’s look like today?" The product was a modern, high-quality wristwatch that incorporated vintage touch points without relying on nostalgia alone. The result was a great success.
- For the Massena LAB Marine (U1-MLM), we find ourselves a decade forward in time, as this second collaboration takes influence and inspiration from the French navy of the 1960’s.

Modello Uno ref. U1-MLM Unimatic x Massena Lab
Housed inside the 40mm stainless steel case of the U1-MLM is the automatic caliber Seiko NH35A 21600bph, with a power reserve of 41 hours. The watch features a blue metallic bezel that gives the piece its appropriate vintage aesthetic.
Each dial is its own shade of deep blue, ranging from ocean to navy, thanks to natural color changes that occur during production. Because of this, each watch is distinct from any other watch in this limited edition. All markers are carefully hand-painted for a crisp finish, giving it a distinctive hand-made “fatto a mano” feel.
An anchor is engraved on the case back, again evoking the French naval tradition. Each watch comes with a matching blue NATO strap as well as an olive with yellow line nylon loop strap with sewn in hardware.
Each limited edition is housed in a branded UNIMATIC x Massena LAB tough case with a 24 months warranty card and unique ID seal and is part of a unique edition of 200 pieces.
Due to the artisanal manufacturing process, there are slight variations in dial color. It varies from marine blue to sea blue.
